Rain and Joe had a phenomenal mid-December day for their wedding. St Peter and Paul in Hamburg was beautiful and everyone out at Immaculate Conception Banquet Room did an amazing jog. The HIt Men provided great music and entertainment for the entire night.
Erin and Nick had the perfect December Day. It started and St. Amelias, for a beautiful ceremony. From there we went to the Ellicott Square Building for pictures and finished the night off at the Hyatt. What a beautiful day. Erin and her bridesmaids looked absolutely amazing and Nick and his groomsman were tons of fun.
Brenda & John had an amazing day for their wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect at The Park Country Club. Tons of fun was had by all!!!!
MJ & Greg were soooooo much fun. Everyone was relaxed and the day went perfectly. The wedding was at St Joes Cathederal downtown, which is an amazing church and the reception was at Asbury Hall. As usual, Austin and his staff did an incredible job. A few other people that helped make the day go so smoothly were Andrea Bonowitz, image consultant and Fun Flash Photo Booth, both out of Rochester.
I had the privilege of taking pictures of Lindsay when she was pregnant with Ella, and then again right after Ella was born. Guess what! Ella just turned one and I had so much fun chasing her and her parents around Delaware Park. Luckily there were lots of dogs in the park to help distract her so she would stop moving for a few seconds at a time. She is so cute, I could have taken pictures all day!
Jessye and Mike had a great day for their wedding. The ceremony was at Parkside Lutheran. First time I've ever shot a wedding there. What a beautiful little church. The reception was at the Lafayette Hotel in the Greenhouse Room, catered by Pearl Street Grill. The flowers were done by Williams Florist.
Had so much fun this weekend taking engagement shots of Leah and Drew. We started at Ralph Wilson Stadium and it was cold and blustery. So we headed over to Chestnut Ridge Park and ended up at the 100 Stairs. Beautiful fall foliage and arent they so cute together.
Anna & Tim had a perfect day for their wedding. The service took place at Immaculate Conception out in Eden. Then we stopped by Forest Lawn for pictures, and on to the Hamlin House for an incredible reception.
Eileen and Dan had a gorgeous day for a wedding. There was a beautiful breeze and the sun was shinning. The wedding was at St. Joes on Main St. and the reception was at the Hotel Lafeyette in the Greenhouse Room which is catered by Pearl St. Besides the bride looking stunning and the groom looking very dapper in his green bow tie, all of the other details were amazing as well. Everything from the bag pipers to the Irish dancers and the candy table, which was done by Andrea at Sitting Pretty, all made for an awesome wedding.
Laura and Tom had a beautiful day for an outside wedding at the Burchfield Nature and Art Center. The reception was stunning as well in the newly refinished Greenhouse Room at the Lafayette Hotel.
Check out this sneak peek of Lisa and Teds' wedding. It was a great night, once the bride arrived :). Perfect weather for an outside wedding at the Avanti Mansion. The bride and groom were awesome! So relaxed and fun!
Katie & Pat got married at St Gabriels in West Seneca and then had their reception at Klocs Garden Grove. The day was perfect!

A beautiful backyard wedding followed by an awesome reception at Asbury Hall. Every detail was perfect!
This was such a fun wedding. Will and I shot sooooo many images that it is taking me forever to edit. My apologies. Should have them done by the beginning of the week. Just wanted to give you all a little taste. Way more to come. The reception at Koteckis was fabulous!
Just a few fun detail shots from Rachel & Steve's wedding at The Glen Oak Golf Course.
What a great day. Bill & Kenny were so much fun to work with. When they werent crying tears of joy, they were laughing and spontaneous and just an absolute ball to hang out with. The wedding party was fantastic, even in the 90 degree heat. Props to the 2 pregnant bridesmaids who hung in there and never complained. The wedding and reception at Asbury Hall was fantastic. Austin and his staff did an amazing job.
The day started out with rain, but as the bride was walking down the isle, the sun came through the clouds. Very beautiful Christian ceremony, followed by some amazing home made indian food for lunch, then back to Klocks for the Hindu ceremony. The day was perfect. The bride and groom were stunning, and so in love!

Last Friday was a beautiful HOT sunny day. Perfect day for a wedding. Jen & Steve stayed cool even when the temps were close to 90. The reception at Klocs grove was amazing.
Had an awesome time shooting 5 month old Baby J. and his Mom and Dad yesterday. We were hoping to get some outdoor shots but Mother Nature was not our friend. It turned out great in the studio. The little guy was awesome. Cant resist those big blue eyes. Here is a sneak peak.

So I have never been much of a blogger, but here goes. For the past few weeks I have been trying to get my websites current. Its been great fun going back through the last year of work and picking some of my favorite shots. https://www.facebook.com/LoriJoycePhotography and http://www.lorijoyce.com/ are almost up to speed. Its always fun going back to an event and remembering all the quirky fun things that happened. Every shoot has a story, although not all can be shared. lol.
February and March are typically slow months for me. Not as many weddings happening here in Buffalo NY, so I have been shooting some really fun stuff just for me. The weather has been perfect for some great outdoor, early spring shoots. Gotta love it because it will probably never happen again. Keep checking the Client access page of http://www.lorijoyce.com/ to see my most current work. I would love to hear your feedback.
I have hired a terrific guy named to Curtis Gibson, to help me get my website more visible on Google. Its amazing what goes into getting your website on the first pages of the search engines. Trying to use the best key words, like Buffalo Photographer and Buffalo Wedding Photographer to drive people to the site. Please wish me luck and thanks to all of my amazing clients who have been sending me so many new clients.
